McCabe Towbars are available in a number of different styles; traditional Flange Ball, continental style Swan Neck and detachable Swan Neck.
Modern Iron Works Ltd., manufacturers of McCabe Towbars, are accredited to ISO 9001:2000, which is an internationally recognised quality standard for the design and manufacture of towbars.
Each new model McCabe Towbar is developed using computer aided design and undergoes rigorous testing to International Standard EC 94/20, carried out on our own towbar testing rig. The Standard requires that a towbar must be mounted to the test rig and subjected to a 2,000,000 cycle test at maximum load.
Each test is overseen by TUV in Germany and approval for the towbar is granted by the VCA (the U.K. Vehicle Certification Agency).
